Digital eye testing
Digital eye chart and testing equipment has been around for some time. However, the technology was not mature then and they were mostly stand alone units and don’t communicate with other equipment.
We have recently digitalised our eye testing as well as our record keeping system and almost everything can be controlled from our ipad, making our process more efficient. This also translates to a better customer experience for you when you visit us now.
From measurement of your prescription, which is relatively stress free and faster with our digital phoropter ZEISS Visuphor to taking frame measurements with ZEISS i.terminal 2 and taking an image of your retina, it’s digitalized. All the data are stored electronically for fast and easy retrieval. This means you don’t have to wait for us to dig out your record that used to be filed manually.
We are equipped to check for eye pressure (glaucoma), diabetic eye disease, cataract, age related macular degeneration and other common eye diseases.
We are constantly upgrading our equipment so that you get the best eye care when you visit us for a pair of glasses, contact lenses or simply want to have an eye exam to check the health of your eyes.
Our consulting room (standard 6m testing distance) has also been spruced up and is spacious so that you won’t feel claustrophobic when getting an eye exam. Do you know that testing in a small cramp space can affect the results of your prescription ?
