Consultation charges apply
Most people visit optical shops to get glasses or contact lenses. And as part of these purchase, we will check your eye health and test your eye degree (optometric consultation) and if there are any visual problems or prescription changes, we will formulate a management plan to solve the problems, usually through prescribing of optical aids like spectacles and contact lenses. In this case, consultation charges are usually waived.
However, in some instances you would like to know if there are any changes in your prescription before deciding whether to make a new pair of glasses. In this case, after the eye examination, you think you do not want to make a new pair of glasses because there is no prescription changes, we will charge you for the eye examination.
Our consultation charges typically range from $30 to $65, depending on the tests done and amount of time spent.
Discussion of lens options is possible only after a consultation. Without an understanding of your eye condition and needs, we can’t do a proper recommendations.

Home or On site Eye Testing
If you have mobility problem or simply wish to have your eyes tested in your home, we can visit you to test your eyes on site. You can also visit our online store to choose your eyewear and we will bring your selection during the visit for you to try. Home eye testing charges are from $80 and by appointment only.

All our eyewear comes with 1 year warranty unless otherwise specified.
After sales services
All eyewear purchased at Evershine Optical enjoys warranty and after sales services like frame adjustment and cleaning . Parts replacement may be chargeable but can be waived on a case by case basis. We do not provide warranty services for eyewear that is not purchased from our store, even though the eyewear you purchased elsewhere comes with an international warranty. For eyewear not purchased at Evershine Optical, we are happy to provide the services and do part replacement for you but charges will apply.
