ZEISS New Products in 2024
ZEISS has recently announced that their products have been enhanced with the latest advancements to improve their performance. This year, ZEISS has upgraded:
- Their Smartlife 2.0 lens portfolio
and launched:
- ZEISS Light 2 Digital and Progressive Lenses
- ZEISS MyoCare Lenses
- New ZEISS Photofusion X Color and offers Photofusion X in 1.74 super hi index
Upgraded SmartLife 2.0 Lens Portfolio
SmartLife Young
The ZEISS SmartLife portfolio consist of SmartLife Single Vision, SmartLife Digital and SmartLife Progressive lenses.
Now, the upgraded ZEISS SmartLife 2.0 lens portfolio introduces a new addition called SmartLife Young, specially designed for individuals under 20 years old.
ZEISS Single Vision SmartLife Young lenses are specifically designed to consider the age, anatomy, lifestyle and visual needs of growing children from 6-19 years in a digitally-immersive world. It gives ZEISS’ best optical performance for hyperopic and myopic children. and also provide up to 60% wider field of clear view for smartphones and handheld devices distances compared to conventional ZEISS Single Vision Stock lenses.
SmartView 2.0 Technology
Furthermore, all the lenses under ZEISS SmartLife 2.0 range now feature enhanced SmartView 2.0 technology with HV Core, providing a significantly wider field of view. This advanced technology ensures that wearers enjoy sharper, clearer vision across the entire lens surface, enhancing their overall visual experience and daily comfort.
New Light 2 Digital and Progressive Lenses
ZEISS Light 2 progressive and digital lenses are the latest addition to the ZEISS portfolio along with ZEISS SmartLife lenses. These new lenses are easy to adapt to, making them ideal for people who have just started to experience vision problems at close range, as well as for more experienced spectacle wearers who are accustomed to standard lenses.
These lenses allows:

- Natural vision at all distances – far and near
- Easy reading on digital devices
- Lightweight and thin for comfort at all times
The picture below shows the difference between standard progressive and ZEISS Progressive Light 2. For ZEISS Progressive Light 2, they utilize moderate-soft design combines the advantages of hard and soft designs. This enables wide and clear distance zones, enlarged near zones, low peripheral distortion and easy access to the near zone.
New MyoCare and MyoCare S Lenses
Addressing the growing concern of myopia among children a, ZEISS introduces MyoCare lenses. These lenses are specifically designed to slow your child’s myopia progression.
ZEISS MyoCare is the first age-related myopia management lens solution. It consist of 2 lens design for separate age groups for a better myopia control.
It’s backed by ZEISS innovation and more than a decade of experience in developing lenses aimed to manage myopia progression.
ZEISS Myocare is available in 1.59 and 1.67, providing high myope children with the option of thinner lenses.
New Color Option and 1.74 Index for Photofusion X
ZEISS has recently expanded its PhotoFusion X portfolio with the introduction of a new color option, Black. This color provides you with extra darkness for hotter weather.
Furthermore, ZEISS has also made Photofusion X available in 1.74 index. It comes in a variety of colors including grey, extra grey, brown, and the newly introduced black color option. For individuals with high prescription, you can now enjoy thinner lenses with photochromatic feature!
